The Warm.A.Pet Precision Thermostat Control Unit is used in conjunction with the Warm.A.Pet heat pad (sold separately). The Precision Thermostat Control Unit maintains the chosen set temperature of the (say 30 degrees) and the variance can be set to 0.3 of a degree.
For example if the temperature is set at 30 degrees and the heat pad rises to 30.3 degrees, the unit will switch to "cool" and if the temperature of the heat pad drops to 29.7 degrees the unit switches to "heat" to constantly maintain the set temperature.

Heat pad sold separately and the thermostat will only work with Warm.A.Pet heat pads
