One Puff Puppy & Kitten Aspirator & Resuscitator

The One Puff Aspirator/Resuscitator Kit is a simple, two part, handheld instrument designed to clear breathing pathways and stimulate the first breaths of newborn puppies, kittens and other small animals. It is a safe, non-invasive, and effective alternative to the use of traditional methods such as shaking, swinging or mouth to mouth, which can cause irreparable harm to newborn animals.

The One Puff is an invaluable tool for all veterinarians, breeders and pet owners and has saved hundreds of distressed newborn small animals, especially in cases of life threatening airway obstruction following natural birth or C-section.

The One Puff is a controlled system that performs a specific function, depending on the mask used for the specific newborn small animal. The Aspiration Mask "A" is designed to administer a safe vacuum suction to remove mucus blocking the animals airway. Respiration Mask "B" is designed to provide a small release of air to stimulate respiratory response. One Puff has been tested to consistently deliver 5 to 10 ml of air pressure, a level that has been proven safe for newborn small animals.

Note

Do Not Pump the One Puff instrument continuously while aspirating or resuscitating as this could have a detrimental effect on the newborn small animal. Only one or two puffs are necessary for stimulation of the animals natural respiratory response.
