Vetbond Tissue Adhesive for minor skin wounds is a veterinary tissue adhesive used to close minor skin wounds on animals. It does this quickly and conveniently, often eliminating the need for sutures and/or bandages.

Uses and Contraindications

  • Commonly used for: Closing small lacerations, surgical incisions (like those from spays and neuters), and other minor wounds. 
  • Not for all wounds: It is not suitable for deep, infected, or bite wounds, nor for large areas of skin under tension. 
  • Veterinary-specific: The formulation is specifically for animals and should not be used on humans.

The application site should be free of excess fluids for best adhesion and to avoid an excessive exothermic (heat generating) reaction. Apply Vetbond Tissue Adhesive sparingly to the surface of the site to form a thin layer. Thick applications will crack and lift prematurely. Avoid touching moist surfaces with applicator tip.
